The Ahudacity is led by its Founder and chief creative officer. Jinmi-Ahisu Olayinka a Creative Powerhouse with over a decade of experience across various creative disciplines and has received numerous accolades. Driven by his desire for social change, Ahisu as he is fondly called, is a firm believer in the "yes, we can" ideology. No challenge is too great, and no mountain is insurmountable, If only you believe. His ability to seamlessly blend strategic and analytical thinking with a heavy dose of creative expression sets him apart in any sphere of life.
Academically, his background is in Business, Media and the Arts. In 2019, he boldly moved to Toronto, Canada, to pursue his passion for filmmaking at the Toronto Film School, where he completed his studies in 2021 with Distinction. In 2024, he received the Yorkville University's Creative Leadership Award and graduated with the highest honours, Summa Cum Laude, in Creative Arts.
Professionally, he has had the privilege of leading and contributing to the success of various projects, technically and strategically. Some of these projects have received accolades which is a testament to his ability to drive and support performances through adaptability and flexibility. Highlighting his recent collaboration with other young creative partners Toni Agbaje-Ojo and Ayanfe Ayeni, Team T.O.A., emerged victorious in the Verdict 2024 Marketing Case Competition presented by IMDOINGIT. This achievement earned them widespread recognition and a significant cash prize of $10,000.
Ahisu understands the importance of delivering a comprehensive and exceptional experience in his work. He specializes in bringing visions to life and creating immersive experiences. His exceptional talent and dedication to the film industry have been recognized through his selection for the Fifth Year OYA Emerging Filmmakers program.
Outside of his craft, Ahisu finds inspiration in music, engaging in film discussions, and indulging in his passion for basketball. These pursuits fuel his creativity and give him a unique perspective informing his work.
